The wood fired pizzas at J.J. Hapgood are probably one of the top reasons that folks find their way to Peru. We make the dough every morning using Vermont-grown and milled certified organic wheat from the Nitty Gritty Grain Company. Our pizzas are baked to order in a custom-built wood-burning oven designed by master mason Peter Moore.
Our creative pizzas are known for their unique and high-quality toppings of local produce, meat and cheeses. But we need your help! We’d love to create a signature 1-Year Anniversary Celebration Pizza to commemorate this amazing milestone. We’ll add a pizza to our menu from a recipe imagined by our wonderful customers, friends and community members. Plus, the culinary talent behind this winning recipe will also receive a $25 gift card to the store. So let’s get started.
