Cabot cheese is practically synonymous with Vermont, and it is our go-to cheddar for everyday snacking and grilled cheese.
Maplebrook Farm, based in Bennington, Vermont, makes the most delicious, authentic mozzarella, burrata, ricotta cheese, and feta from 100% Vermont whole milk when possible. We use their creamy mozzarella on our wood-fired pizzas.
PLYMOUTH ARTISAN CHEESE:
We’ve found the perfect cheese for grilled cheese in the Hunter, raw cow’s-milk cheese from Plymouth Artisan Cheese, a short drive north of the store.
Taylor Farm produces some of our favorite cheeses, including a range of Gouda, including a delightful Maple Smoked Gouda, on their Londonderry, Vermont farm.
Vermont Creamery produces some of the creamiest, most delicious fresh and aged goat cheeses, cultured butter and fresh cow’s milk cheeses. We love a dollop of their tangy crème fraiche atop our hash at breakfast. Many of their products are available for sale in our dairy case.
